Surround myself with Truth

A very uplifting person shared this idea with me at a turbulent time in my life. I will never forget it. Has anyone else noticed the amount of negativity, manipulation and untruthful or deceptive things we tend to buy into so easily? Just the other day, a neighbor girl said, "When I forget it means I'm stupid". I quickly corrected her and said, "That is not a truthful statement about yourself, you may be forgetful from time to time, but stupid is not what you are."
